Acceptable Use Policy

01Prohibited uses

• Providing false information or forged documents, or impersonating another person or business.
• Fraud, attempting to pay by unlawful means, or abusing refunds and promo codes.
• Trying to access other people’s accounts or data, bypassing security measures, or security-testing the site without written permission.
• Automated data collection (scraping) or heavy request volumes that affect the site.
• Using the platform to send unsolicited advertising or to arrange deals outside it.

02Prohibited products

• Counterfeit products, products not meeting the standards approved in the Kingdom, or expired products.
• Hazardous or restricted materials that require a licence the supplier does not hold.
• Stolen goods, goods of unknown origin, or anything prohibited by law.
• Products unrelated to building materials and finishing, unless approved by the platform in advance.

03Reviews and content

• Reviews are open to buyers who actually received the product, and are marked “Verified buyer”.
• Paid or fake reviews are prohibited, as is a supplier reviewing its own or competitors’ products from any account.
• Abusive, misleading or indecent content is prohibited, as is posting personal data or contact numbers in reviews.

04Reporting a violation

If you notice a product, review or behaviour that breaks these rules, e-mail info@memaar-hub.com with the page link and a description. Every report is reviewed confidentially.

05What happens on a violation

Depending on its seriousness the platform may remove content, hide products, suspend or close the account, cancel related orders or notify the authorities, without prejudice to its right to claim damages.
